This photo was taken 2-2-10, on the side of Casa Loma Rd in the Santa Cruz Mountains in CA. The subject is Ian Guner, and today is his birthday. Happy Birthday Ian. I really love the fisheye effect on the trees and how you can see the ground and the tree canopy all in the same shot. There is some post-editing done to alter the colors of the ground and trees that give it a little more surreal look which fits the fisheye effect a little better.
I love what fish eye does to trees. Also, pictures taken from ground level are my favorite because it's such a different view than eye level.
